Sometimes when I vs. the trojan alone I get pinned into the corner and cannot move at all. It does't budge even when i use my shield and attacking it doesn't work. So all I can do is just lose all my life and return to Haven. It is really annoying when that happens and please fix this.

i think it's true
Hi it happened to me once i was in an areana and got trapped by a trojan, i tried using the charge attack of my cold iron carver, but no use i think this should come to attention.

Unless you have 3 trojans on you (or 2 well positioned ones), you still have a chance to wiggle out of using the shield bump.

It does work, you really just need more practice. Sshield bumps work if you do it right. Maybe you should try it with a trojan that didn't corner you: They don't get bumped far, but you can still slowly bump them around the room quite well with some practice. Maybe you had shock status effect and your timing was off.
There are enough threads about this here already. This is not a bug: you're doing it wrong. Three times in a row.
1) Don't let Trojans corner you
2) Don't panic if it happens, they CAN be bumped away with a shield enough for you to escape.
3) If you die, they will walk away before you time out. Try waiting.
