For some reason when I'm trying to download this update it is taking over 100mins. the longest download time ever for me was 8mins. idk why this is happening. (I even refreshed)

You should give it some more time---a lot of people are trying to update right now.
You might also want to try clearing your browser cache (I'm assuming you're playing in a browser). Most importantly, just wait. Constant refreshing isn't super helpful to the servers or your poor browser.
