Have a message board in the guild hall for info ranging from someone looking to do a boss run to a trade to whatever. Have it cost 25 CR just like mail, and guild members can leave responses (i would say for free, but maybe charge a little, like say 5 or 10). That way the guild can communicate even with people that aren't online (which as far as i know, there is no way to do currently, you can only chat all online members.)
