so, after putting up with the constant wrong lane deaths that occur almost every match even when I'm running into a wall on an different lane, I managed to complete a bunch of matches to get Krogmo coins.

However, the Red X saying you didn't complete the match good seems random and completely out of it sometimes.

3 examples:

1st: player with red X was 1st in points for 3 minutes and lost near the end, coming 2nd, tying with myself, although he had less deaths then me, he gets a red X

2nd: player that ties with me does not get a red X when he has 15 or so deaths 0 kills and comes last.

3rd: I draw 1st with 2 others, I have middle amount of deaths and kills, I get a Red X.

what system are you using to determine this? I played that match as best I could and get a red X with some one else coming in lower then us?

although the removal of AFKs was good intent, punishing players for nothing is completely batty nuggets.

another match another ignorance

another example:
a player just admitted to doleing out points, got 0 kills and 13 deaths, did he get Red X'd? Nope.

Its a combination of timing

Its a combination of timing of bombs dropped, and few other things. It has a hard time telling apart someone whose not fighting, from someone whose playing overly defensive. Since the biggest factor in gaining points is bomb kills (aggressive gameplay), its the easiest factor to watch for.

Bomberman is far too complex

Bomberman is far too complex a battle system (oddly) to be judge like this by a machine, you can go a whole minute without placing a single bomb at times as you're waiting to trap an opponant or it'll get you killed, a simplier system would be just to Red x the bottom 2 players in a 8 man match, this makes it more competitive and the bad players will stop giving up. altho this'd decrease krogmo coin outage you can help that by lowering the costs if neccessary.

those people that just place bombs EVERYtime they can generally get themselves killed, they're easy to spot, and OH so easy to trap.

also with bomb kills, you can "kill" some one but not get credit for it by trapping or giving them an impossible situation to be in.

not only is the Red X an issue tho, you have constant issues with people being stuck INSIDE a bomb, and hit detection, being killed from a lane over, which I have many screenshots of when this has happened so this harms by going by deaths / kill ratio, however this idea would be better as it punishes team killers and suiciders aswell with minimal damage elsewhere*

If you are overly defensive,

If you are overly defensive, you can still move your mouse, or move slightly in your spot. This will keep you from being kicked for being AFK (30 seconds?! 4real?! I joined a game, didn't move since, waiting for the game to start and when it starts I simply got kicked for AFK! For not moving BEFORE the game!!!).

Blast network game isn't "too complex". Its someone making it "too complex" for someone else. The game itself is horribly simple.

By too complex, I meant the

By too complex, I meant the way people can play the game, there's many different strategies involved and many different ways to kill an opponant, such as trapping, luring, long range, tag team, etc etc. so although the game itself is a simple concept and controls the complexity of the way you can play is far greater, probably should have made this clearer after rereading my post so yes the GAME is simple, the effects of the simple game into actual game play is not, like chess or checkers.

also, it'd stop you being kicked, but it wouldn't stop you getting Red X'd that was the point
