I just got a second place in FFA game (3 kills 5 deaths) same as another player. He got 2nd place prize, I got nothing. Score was absolutely identical.
How come I get nothing and he gets something? How did the game decide winner?
From another post:
5 players total, we both hold 2nd place, but only one of us got crowns as a reward.

It probably used another stat
It probably used another stat (time from last death or kill) as a tie breaker. A screen shot would probably reveal why.
