Reviving already takes

Reviving already takes energy, so let's figure this in terms of CE, shall we? I usually don't seriously consider NOT reviving until the cost gets up to 20 or 40, since I'm a free player; for nasty endgame content, though, we're probably looking at about 80 to 160. Since using this will probably save you around 100 energy or so, so it should be priced at about the same level at 100 energy...

See where this is going? Why wouldn't I just buy energy, which I can do from anywhere, even when I'm dead?

Being a usable item (as in Vial), its treated as a gamble. If you do use it, it could save you some energy. If not, its a loss of crowns.

Unless its really cheap compared to using CE, I don't see people willing to stock them for a trip since it could go to waste.

Usable =/= Vial

A Vial is a quickslot item. A Usable is like a Mini Mist Tank; if you don't use it you still have it. And Cogspin, if it should be priced at about the same level as 100 energy, then make it so. Notice I said somewhere between 1 and 10k crowns, so 100 energy falls in there somewhere.

If its gonna be arsenal item,

If its gonna be arsenal item, why not just make it a 4th button (or a check box) on the rez menu? That tends to be the norm for self res items.
