If I reinstall the game, it wouldn't destroy my character right? I haven't uninstalled SK before, so I'm just wondering. If it doesn't, I'll give it a try.

All the details about your character are stored server-side and are associated with your login information, as soon as you reinstall and log in you'll be fine.

It's still happening. I already reinstalled the game and it still occurs.
There's been a few Steam users suffering this recently. A few people have reported success after reinstalling the game. Could you please give that a try?
