Selling Autogun CTR Medium.
One little notice for you. If you wanna buy an Autogun for upgrading it to Blitz Needle to shoot at Vanaduke you'll likely get his aggro, so you'd need to walk behind him while other guy freezes him to finally release the charge (or else he'll pretty much smash you). This CTR bonus + level 10 natural CTR bonus (Very High in total) will likely be enough for this kind of fight, cause you spent more time walking than it takes Blitz Needle to charge. So now it's a good chance to decrease Vanaduke time fight twice or even thrice for a not that big of a price. Well, that was just my opinion.
Oh, and also, Volcanic Pepperbox is quite a good option too, especially if you're playing in party. It's charge attack is pulling monsters slightly towards you, so more bullets will hit them. Here's where 1 Krogmo trinket will help you to reach the maximum possible charge time reduction.

Blitz Needle or Pepperbox are far more useful than this sword.
I would like to first point out that on those threads where the autogun CTR meds were up for 2k ce (as a B/O price not a bid), the items never sold, the threads were just covered in bumps and eventually died... If you do (as you say in the OP) want to actually get some CE out of this item then you will need to lower the starting bid. 2k CE for a B/O price might even be a little high... :S
Aslo, insulting your potential market is always a bad way to try and sell something, chill out - they aren't trying to insult you they're trying to help you... else you'll never get close to a sale....
Final point: No, this item is not rare, a lot of my guild have a CTR med-v.high Blitz needle. Think about it, with all the crafters which craft these (not to mention everyone who crafts for themselves), there a quite a lot in the game, a medium UV isn't as rare as you seem to think. The ONLY thing that this has going for it is its usefulness in FSC, not anything to do with its rarity. If you had a CTR v.high, THEN you could talk about rarity....
I'd also like to note that I would be willing to bid on this item, but only for a ssensible price...
