Yes there was but..
You had to make a minimum purchase of $10 to play lockdown on the test server. It is very fun I'm sure youll all love it, I know I do.

Awesome!!! I'm almost as stoked about the Danger Room tweak as I am about Lockdown. I'm all for more danger, but I have limited time & resources so the profit needs to be equal to the danger.
I'm wondering if in Lockdown our shields are counted into our loadouts? Do we still get the buffs from shields like the Swiftstrike Buckler and Barbarous Thorn Shield? It looks like the class mods replace our shields. Are we still shielding while we use our class mods (I mean other then guardian)? Well I guess I'll find out in a few hours.

Your shield's star level
Your shield's star level absolutely affects the Tier of your loadout, but is not used in Lockdown.

The shield that are in there...
Are the Guardian,Recon, and Striker shield you can read up about them in Nick's post in announcments. I think its neat that people have the choice which to get, it all depends on their style.

Lockdown is so much fun! I'd put it on-par with other control point PvP games (Battlefield 2 comes to mind.)
Can't wait to use my own equipment in there mwhaha >:D
Can you get bombhead masks from Lockdown, or is there going to be something different?
