I'm not sure if anyone else here is having this issue, but two other steam friends of mine said they noticed it as well. I'm unable to log in due to the game not authenticating with Steam apparently, which wasn't occurring until after the patch installed. However I was able to log in to TF2 and access all my items without any issues, but I'm hearing similar things from friends about Spiral Knights after they patched.

I am having the same issue with spiral knights but no other games. I logged on here to see if this was a common problem, apparently it is.

Not sure what you guys mean

Not sure what you guys mean by 'authenticating,' but it feels like I've at least got something similar: Game patches, but then it doesn't launch. It tries to launch, but closes shortly afterward. However, according to Steam, everything validates if I tell it to 'check the integrity of the game cache.' Still, this only appears to happen on Steam and not on the other versions of the client.
