After sept 20 patch, my shield doesn't work... Was playing a lot of lockdown before the patch, not sure if it's relevant. Tried rebinding another key to it, and that doesn't work either.
Certainly makes the game more challenging :D
Will post results of trying lockdown once I get to basil and return to haven.
[edit: lockdown lets my shield/action work] will try to go back to clockworks to see if it fixes it.]
[edit2: nope... no shield in the actual clockworks :/ ]
You will not have a shield equipped when you leave or complete a lockdown game, so be sure to re-equip one before diving the clockworks.
