I was doing a solo T3 run today. Got to the third map (Stone Grove) and was fighting some random jelly when the entire screen (except the interface buttons) turned light blue and my game sounds (not music, though) cut out entirely. I tried to hold down shield to maybe block a couple hits, or mash the mouse button to finish the slimes off, but my presses apparently had no effect and I was promptly killed.

While filing an in-game bug report immediately after, the music stopped and the game crashed out entirely, booting me to the desktop. Despite this, Steam still says I'm playing Spiral Knights and the Java process continues to run in the background, eating up 50% of the CPU.

I'd really appreciate if this problem could be looked into. It's terribly frustrating to be going for the no-revival T3 run achievement, only to have it cut short prematurely by a massive glitch like this, wasting a handful of mist energy in the process. Thanks.
