Whenever im done on my profile in the game my brother uses his, and whenever he switches i have low energy and it is somehow transfered to his account and instead of 100 energy (which he saw the last time he played when he used mist tank) and turns into how much i had. Crystal energy is however not effected by this. This has happened several times before but i have only noticed till recently.

Also

He logs into a DIFFERENT account with a different user name and password. Not to mention he's really ticked off for having to wait another day (22 hours) for it to fill.

That's how it is for free

That's how it is for free accounts. If you have more than one on a computer, your Mist Energy is shared.

Have either of you bought

Have either of you bought crystal energy (from the RL$ shop) before?

If not, it's shared. You'll each have your own seperate mist if one of you throws $2.50 to the Spiral Knights devs.

even through separate steam accounts?

So mist energy is shared via computer even if I log out of steam and my friend logs into her steam account to play?

Well...

$2.45 per account (except 1)

To eliminate "mist sharing" on the same computer. All it takes. :D

Yes, even Steam Accounts.

Mist is not shared for different "unpaid" accounts in different computers. Just make sure people play in the same place all the time.

5 dollars. Is it too much to

5 dollars. Is it too much to ask for that?
Anyways, you can still play all day with only one account, If you can't ahieve that, you are doing it wrong.
