So first is a gripe that now we have pointless player accessories where we should have guild hall and overall guild improvements that make players want to join guilds other than for the reason to have a larger list of players to join.

But as long as we are going to have these pointless overly priced aesthetics can we at least choose the color of them? It would only require a vending machine and a new NPC (these would of course be positioned right next to Bechamel). The vending machine would offer purchasable paints for energy or crowns and then there would be a new accesorizor who could augment these paints to your accessories instead of them having crappy preset colors that don't match your armor ever have one default color and then the option to have its color match. And why stop there? Why not allow players to apply these paints to there proto gear to match?

Just an idea...

Regarding your first gripe: we're not privy to Three Rings' development schedule. We don't know what's planned for the Guild Hall, but they're surely aware of the demand for it, so we can assume they're doing something. We do not know how long that will take to implement. Besides, the advent of PvP modes and their accompanying Guild Team option is an incentive to join a Guild, and indeed an incentive for Guilds to be selective with their recruitment.

Regarding the second: there's such a thing as Prismatic accessories. They're colour-matched to the player. They're extremely desirable for precisely that reason. They're also the rarest accessories, because Three Rings knew they'd be extremely desirable. It's a pretty basic design decision - you of course make the best, most-wanted gear the hardest to get. It's not rocket science. Meanwhile, the other colours allow players to broaden the palette of their equipment a bit, which helps prevent accessories getting lost in visually samey loadouts.

Also, you do get a chance to pick your Proto gear colour palette when you generate a character, you know.

There've been a lot of suggestions regarding personal colour changes, but I don't imagine it can be a terribly high priority for Three Rings, although, again, it's not like any of us are privy to their development plans.
