So I was just in the middle of a fight with Vanaduke. I had 2 other random knights with me, and I had spent about 200ce to get there between elevators and revives.

Somewhere during the second phase, Vana attack-slided over the the right side of the area and then disappeared. Poof!

There were still some skeletons strolling about, but the big-guy was not to be found anywhere.

We cleared away the rest of the bad guys, but that didn't help. We waited about 10 minutes for something else to happen, and nothing did.

So here I am reporting, what I believe to be a pretty serious bug, and praying I can get back some of the energy I wasted on this aborted adventure, or possibly some almirian seals as compensation.

Whenever your party gets

Whenever your party gets stuck somewhere in the clockworks, please use F2 or /bug to send in a bug report. Then use a support request to ask the GM onduty for assistance. Click the ? button in the top left of your screen, and select the support tab.

For this type of issue, we have to reset the level, but we do get Vanaduke back for the party to finish him off.

I should have mentioned, I / we did send bug reports, and tried to contact a GM through in-game support. But after 10 minutes of waiting, my lunch hour ended and I had to get back to work.

Even if we were allowed a chance to redo the level, my playtime was over.

So, if I understand you correctly, you acknowledge this kind of thing does happen, and I shouldn't hold my breath waiting for recompense, or a fix for this problem. Correct?

It is known that it only happens if his movement is interrupted mid-charge, usually from freeze lock or a shock spasm, but bug itself occurs so rarely its hard to recreate in a test environment.

Compensation is up to the GM, but most will take you back to the start of Vanaduke and leave you supplies for the fight.
