The chance of status is way
The chance of status is way too low and weak to warrant the loss of base damage. I would go Final Flourish and pack something else if you want to inflict status. Everything I have read (forums & wiki) suggests that the status flourishes are garbage.
Fair chance at Moderate Fire (just charge?)
or
Slight chance of Moderate Stun (basic and charge)
Besides unless that is a typo you are locked into crafting the Final line anyways if you have a double UV Swift Flourish. They split when crafting the 3* version:

i meant to look that up, i now see that i should have done that. i did not know that flourish line split at 3-star because i have never had any of those swords.
anyway thanks for the advise.
Final Flourish. Hands-down. The status swords rarely inflict said status. The trade-off isn't worth it in the slightest.
