IS it normal to take over 30 minutes for the game to load at the beginning?
I know it's downloading stuff but yesterday when I played for the first time it only took 8 or 9 minutes.

No. It just takes super long.

So you're saying, you click on the icon that launches the game client which is supposed to launch the game window, and THAT takes 30 minutes to load?
Do you have any background processes that might be locking up Java/straining your computer resources etc?
Are you sure you have the latest version of Java (Java 6 Update 24)? Kinda need more information...

That's exactly what I'm saying.
I have no background processes doing anything at all that would be using up my resources and I DO have the newest java version. I'll try again tomorrow and see if it happens because it doesn't have to go through the downloading stuff if I close my browser and open it up maybe 6 hours later to play.
On Windows Vista/7 installed from the web browser?
