Sure mate
Vog set, crest of almire, divine avenger, thorn blade, fang of vog and blitz. The FOV only has ctr med. To answer your question about one hitting with the charge, you don't need the trinkets but I had two damage bonuses for sword. Normally I take DB for guns, though.
Also sorry about the quality haha. I put it together in movie maker because I didn't know wtf I was doing.

Nice Solo Player Efficency
Incredibly well equipped (gear choice-wise) to fight it...I like your phase 4 and the FoV charged hits for the slags at the start of phase 5.
And sub 5 minute solo (4:54) makes me want to make blitz (even though it'd just be used for vanaduke XD).

Thanks Zinq appreciate it. Imo you should def make a blitz lol. As long as vana remains the endgame content month after month it's totally worth it. In fact all I run is fsc even though it's incredibly dull and boring just for the profit. ):

Lol yeah the lag in this game is insane. Most of mine stopped thankfully. If it ever gets too bad just end process on java and reload SK. Should fix the freezes for awhile.

Ah sorry when I replied to Tom I meant ctr med was the only UV on my fov and no damage bonus UVs. My other weapon UVs are DA-ctr med, blitz-ctr med, and barb-asi med. Thanks for watching. ^_^

Usually I will just brush it off as another solo vanaduke but I watch the whole thing. Very smooth, very slick, very little redundancy & hesitation and I like all the neat turns you did with shield cancel.

Oh nice! I think my fastest 4-men Shiverlocking + Blitz run was slower than this. Very nice handling of Vana's attacks, and as noted, the Slag executions were great.

Nice, I was trying to crack the Vana code for a while. In groups, the shiverlocking thing is the only thing that seems to work, and that always seems to go haywire for a while in phase 5. Since I've had so much trouble with it, I've been not wanting to try him at all solo...this gives me pause, however. I see that Vana's magma-pool that's left after his attack isn't...anything, so I don't have to try and avoid that. :D the shimmy side-to-side thing was really effective. The FOV was nice too...I never brought that down to FSC. Looks like I should.
I need some fire resist on my gunning gear...

@Flists Yeah guess I'm lucky or something lol. Ever since I put in a new graphics card the only lag I've gotten was due to my internet dipping.
@Tengu Haha yeah if you get really good at side stepping close to vana, he's really easy. Just need to watch out for that occasional last phase charge and falling debris. If you time your shots right, even those aren't a problem. FOV is actually one of my favorite weapons in this game lol. I love spamming it and clearing rooms insanely fast in FSC. It should be in any FSC speedrun setup imo. Glad the video could help you. Thanks for watching. :)

Impressive control! I'd be interested to see how someone of your talent fares solo without the Blitz (or any gun/bomb for that matter). ;)
I wonder if there is another weapon aside FoV appropriate for killing of Slag Guards that quick. I don't think DAs charge is enough to take each one down in anything less than three hits, and I'm not sure Levi has the type-weakness advantage with its pure Normal attack.
This tempts me to Heat up a Blitz of my own...

The cookie cutter Firestorm Citadel set is a Vog Cub set, Argent Peacemaker, Blitz Needle, Dread Venom/Leviathan, and a Crest of Almire/Grey Owlite/Barborous thorn shield. If you only have 2 weapon slots roll with Divine Avenger/Peacemaker. Thanks for watching!

@Carthiah. When I run with my normal group, we have one person camp each slag guard spawn with an FOV. Without sword trinkets, the charge and 2 more hits from an elemental sword will finish them off in a 4-man.
