Preview server open this weekend! (Dec 3 - 4)

Hey everyone, the preview server will be open this weekend during the following times:
Saturday, December 3
10am - 1pm PDT
7pm - 10pm PDT
Sunday, December 4
2pm - 5pm PDT
7pm - 10pm PDT
We have a new Lockdown map available for testing! Sign up for PvP and have fun playing on Frostbite, a frigid arena littered with snowballs to pick up and throw at the enemy team! Hitting other players with a snowball has a chance to freeze them in place!
Please give us feedback regarding map balance and the new snowball mechanic on the Testing Feedback section of the forums.

Nice snowball fights. These updates are pretty fun tbh. I been actively playing this game for close to a year now, and the shadow lairs update was key. I am glad to see you guys doing more work adding onto older content and expanding them. May I add, to make myself happy make guild updates =) guild hall items etc. =) that would be pretty epic. Anyways can't wait to test out this new map for sure should be fun.
I know I can find this out for myself, but just curious:
Do snowballs work on everyone, or can you be immune to it if you have max freeze resistance?

Currently they are implemented to work with freeze resistance, since we thought it would be strange to have them function differently than other status-inducing weapons. We would like everyone's feedback though on how you think it plays!

I like the idea of snowball
I like the idea of snowball fights.
Seems like Skolver Armor is getting all the love. What I mean is that people perfer this type of armor set in PvP because of the piercing defense and that everyone loves to use piercing weapons (Flourishes, Barbarous Thorn Blades, Callahans etc.) during any match.
The freeze resistance also seems to only apply to the Skelly line and Wolver->Skolver Line.
More favorable armor choices it seems!
.. Could we also get these snowballs to throw in frosty themed maps? Like, the Royal Jelly Queen and other ice themed stratums too? (Probably won't make much sense because the stratum is ice themed, but it would still be fun to throw some.) :D

Apologies for the trouble, we had some problems that prevented the Preview Server from being opened at 10am as announced. To ensure you still get the promised time to try out new features we'll be opening it for a different 3 hours window instead - from 2pm until 5pm today.
