I'd like to see Death Marked enemies give partial credit to Recons who inflicted the mark. Either:
Recon receives credit for half the damage inflicted
(yes, this means the teammate actually dealing the damage only gets half,
but then they would be doing less damage without the mark in the first place)
OR
Recon receives some sort of new 'Assist points', roughly equal to half the damage inflicted on a Marked Target.
---------------------------------------------
If Assist points are added, Guardians could receive Assist points for damage blocked on behalf of teammates, and/or damage healed on teammates.
---------------------------------------------
Lastly, I'd also like a class icon attached to each player on the scoreboard. For teammates, you can look to the side sure but that still doesn't tell you what class your enemy was playing. It would be a simple cosmetic to add and help everyone understand each other's contribution to the match.
The first suggestion is interesting. However, and since you can change class and loadouts at any point during the match, the last suggestion isn't really viable. What if I was a striker for 90% of the match and then changed into a recon? wouldn't the scoreboard be misleading if it showed a recon symbol on me?
Or, I was a recon-bomber for half the match and kept by myself a control point for that duration, then changed into a striker and got killed often before doing anything useful. How that would be represented?
What I would like to see is time on a cp measurement or something like that to show, you know, that someone was sitting on a control point and didn't let the opponents touch it for so long (something that doesn't show up in the current caps/defends counter)
