1) When i try to puchase via clicking on the energy depot i get a message "An unexpected error has occured on the server".
2) if i try to purchase from the ready room it complety closes out SK with no warning.
I am a steam user.

Just go to Steam store,
Just go to Steam store, Spiral Knights page. You'll see DLC available, $4. Buy it. You'll get access to expansion mission right away, no re-login needed.
Yep, i'm having the same issues :P
