Carefully.
Yes, there's something to be said for charging in and slashing wildly, but generally I find more enjoyment in getting through a firefight without a scratch. So my favorite method has to be the old, reliable Leviathan Blade charge attack. When that isn't feasible (for example, there's a gunner in the party) I tend to do a lot of maneuvering and single sword hits.
Yes, I'm dull.

But most of the time they die from my Valiance. It's not flashy, but it gets the job done. (:

Can't believe no one mentioned this!
I would have to say the mecha turrets at "The Jelly Farm II". Yes, it costs 5 energy, but the ensuing laser storm is awesome. For kicks I simply activate it and have fun running around while it shreds everything.
There is also the Polaris spam. Spray and pray at it's best.

First, I shatter each and every one of their bones. Then, I stab them with a sword until their alien blood oozes out of their bodies. Lastly, after enjoying then suffer mercilessly, I rip their heart out and blast them to oblivion, watching their bodies burn. Oh so slowly....
In non-sadistic terms: Troika-> Flourish-> Firefracker bomb. Gremlins must die!
