Change Boss Level Missions

Well, it has happened finally: FSC is out now and it gives a "ginormous" amount of crowns. Even more so maybe than old FSC, so now we are going to be flooded with crowns. I don't know if OOO thought of this, but this suggestion is to change the current Boss Level Missions and give the Arcade a purpose.

My suggestion is to make the boss levels the same as going to the Arcade, but putting you a Mission Flag to complete it, so either you have the Artifact or not, you must complete it in order to finish the mission. Now, activating the mission would take you to the Tier lobby (Clockworks entrance, Moorcroft Manor, Emberlight) of the gate that had the boss and you would begin your descent to the dungeon and boss, old style.

This would keep Clockworks as boss access points, and wouldn't flood with crowns so much the game. F2P players would still have Rise and Fall, but this would soften the blow.

And yes, it is a F2P player who makes this suggestion.

Sorry but all that crown

Sorry but all that crown influx is a step against F2P game model. The T3 players who have plenty of crowns will get even more. Their demand for CE will rise CE price even more, and those who will struggle in getting enough crowns for CE will be starting F2P players or mid ranged ones. Since they wont be able to afford a lot of it they will either quit or buy it with $$.

Not to mention that prices will drive away new players.

I dunno...

I haven't actually done the FSC mission yet, so I don't know whether it gives the same number of crowns as old FSC (somewhere between 7 and 9k?). I think, however, that the number may have been slightly adjusted to make up for the fact that FSC is now so readily accessible as a mission. If memory serves me correctly, RJP before missions would yield somewhere between 4 and 6k crowns. Now, the RJP mission yields around 3k or less (I'm just going by the metric that Rise and Fall is the most profitable and yields around 3k). Since the release of the mission system, I haven't done RJP in the arcade, so I'm also not sure if an arcade RJP run still yields the old amount.

I guess what I'm saying is that I personally won't be so quick to say that a major crown influx will occur as a result of FSC being releases as a mission. However, I will agree that if it indeed does yield the same number of crowns, this may turn out to be a fairly big issue. I'd like to err on the side of confidence in OOO, but we'll see...

As a final note, I don't think we should be freaking out too much about a crown influx. Sure, energy prices will probably rise (as they are now), but at the same time we have access to more crowns. I'm not an economist, but maybe it balances out?

The jk problem is because it was bumped up one level without a d14 arena.
The difference level by level is not that big.
Clockworks first jelly level gives 1000cr, mission one 720.
Assuming you dont pay the 200cr tier 2 access on missions, the difference becomes even smaller.

"I'm just going by the metric that Rise and Fall is the most profitable and yields around 3k). Since the release of the mission system"
Another fail by most people:
Rise or Fall is 3 levels lenght, 3kcr (1k per 10ce)
If you do the jelly levels but no boss (spend 20ce) you earn 2k, wich is the same ratio than Rise and fall.
Sure its not exactly 1k per level, but you get the idea. If there is a difference it's small enough to not make it important.

Gather and compare data, people.

Even if the mission FSC was equally profitable, you're saving 500cr per run (T3 acces cost), lol. That already makes a difference.

The payout isn't the same. It's more. 9k cr? The last run I did paid 12k cr.

No, tier 3 players with good FSC items and skills have access to more crowns. And it is a very large gap.

2 x FSC missions = 24k cr + 6-8 Almirian Seals (worth about 1k cr each).
3 x Rise and Fall missions = 9kcr approx.

Tier 3 FSC runners now have access to a mission that pays approx 3 times as much as one of the more profitable Tier 2 missions. I was very surprised to find out the actual crown payout of the mission. Now I can personally spam this mission loads myself but I feel it for the poor T1 and T2 players who don't have anywhere near that good a resource to make use of.
