First time posting on this thread kind of hoping to avoid ever posting in this. Having bad issues with chat that i heard that others were having. Seem like after a few tells it stops working and eventually crashes my game. This issue came up during the last patch and its making the game unplayable. I re-downloaded the client but issue still hasn't been fixed and also email my issue as well.

I'm having different kinds of issues:
-Click Enter, up arrow to get to one of my last commands (for example /tell pudding), my cursor is there so I should be able to type -> Isn't able to type. I have to click back into the chat area to able to type. This happens sometimes.
-While in a trade, able to bring up chat, go up commands and either I can't type or if I go to click (again so I am able to type), it closes the chat area.
I often find myself having to retype stuff, 'cause I didn't realize it was typing and I look at my keyboard for typing lol

How are you able to tell the chatbox is crashing the game and not another action?
I'm facing the exact same problem. o.o
