Tier 2 Lockdown: Gunslinger Alchemer Choice

I've had alot of fun using Magnus with my cowboy outfit and feeling great when I stun down and takedown enemies (sometimes even the occasional wolver, though usually I need the help of my Fireburst Brandish at that point).

My Shadowtech Alchemer MK II doesn't really see much use though.

I was thinking an elemental alchemer might better suit my purposes.

So there's the choice between fire, shock, and freeze.

Which status is best suited to a Lockdown gunslinger?

I usually play either Striker or Recon (if there's an abundance of wolvers and i need some added bang for my buck).

In case I need to:

TL; DR: T2 LD: Bring a Cyrotech, Firotech, or Voltech?

Btw its Cryotech, thats why I never find those Icy guns on AH >:(..

Anyway, Shadowtech is good enough for me, there are no trendy equipment that resists Shadow and Shadowtech is Pure Shadow damage

I recommend voltech because it acts like a little pulsar(for me).

For status, Voltech or Cryotech.

Both shock and freeze are deadly statuses in Lockdown.
Freezing an enemy will make them unable to move or turn, so you can go ahead, charge up your Shadowtech or your Fireburst Brandish, and nuke them with the charge.
Shock is also a useful status in that it interrupts anything a Knight/monster is doing with its shock spasms, which means that Strikers' booster will be interrupted for a second or two when they spasm. It also breaks Recon cloak, dealing half a pip per spasm.

You should also consider a Kilowatt Pulsar as a status sidearm, as it has a good chance of causing moderate shock (like the Voltech) except that it excels at area denial with its expanded shots.

Fire is a pure damage status, so I wouldn't recommend a Firotech Alchemer for a gunslinger that wants a status sidearm in LD.

Shadowtech/Prismatech are also great damage guns - I personally use a Nova Driver (5* Prismatech) in Tier 3 Lockdown when I play gunner, as it does high damage per shot. It also works very well when running and gunning as a Striker, which is something the Magnus line is not very good at.
