meteors falling every 3 seconds

I think 2 minutes is very,

I think 2 minutes is very, very short.

First, I'm going to assume you mean from the point when the "party gate" is triggered. Some of us can take almost that long to load the level.

Second, while it may be fast for 4 people to clean out a level, a solo person will take longer to clean it out. Including all the ground plants that need weeding.

I don't think it's fair to say "a 4 person party is entitled to get more". And long enough to let a soloer clear everything out isn't the same as long enough for a party of 4 to do it.

Now, here's a better question: Why?

Why not just let people take their time. It's a chance to relax.

Heck, maybe you've got to answer the phone while in the level. Or take care of dogs that get into something.

Why not turn any level into a death trap after N minutes? Why treat treasure levels differently?

I think someone in this thread is missing the point of the Treasure Rooms. Treasure rooms are meant to be a relaxing and beneficial reward room that you earned by working down there.

There are few enemies to fight and bountiful rewards. Trying to kill everyone in the room simply because you find it boring is WRONG.

Edit: Also, if you wait until you go down the elevator to answer the phone or take your dog for a walk, then it's your problem. You should have just stayed at the end of the last level if you wanted to go AFK. What if you had entered a Graveyard instead of a Treasure Vault? Would you do the same? :|
