I might be the only person who owns a biohazard, but the charge shot did only 12 damage where a normal shot would do 132. The Volatile Catalyzer I have seems to have the same underwhelming damage.

Same here
Noticed the same issue when testing it in RJP right after the patch.
Normal shot at the first level doing around 80/shot with the 4* version while the charge did 9(?)/explosion.
Edit: this is with a low slime from UVs and med all from armor.
I own a Biohazard too, i've noticed the same thing.
