A very easy, and very useful, system.
Simply an outbox that tells you exactly what you sent and to whom.
Sometimes I forget if I even sent a message to the person, and I wish to recap and see if I did, and what I said, and the like.

At last, a brilliant light cut though the murkiness of the deep hell that Aemicus had been cast into. He looked up, wondering to himself "Could this be what I have been waiting for? Is this the sign?" The trolls crowded around him, pulling at him with their tiny hands, trying to bring him back to his knees, but he drew strength from that brilliant shred of luminescence. Aemicus stood fully upright, shaking off the reposted threads like so many cobwebs, and turned his face upward to bask in that faint glow. He smiled, realizing that for the first time in a long time, there had been a good suggestion on the forums.

/dies from shock.
I sometimes send very substantial messages whose contents I forget to copy to the clipboard, and then I end up having to rewrite them. I feel like this suggestion is just a part of how the mail system can be improved, but it has my support nonetheless.
