I haven't seen a thread for the Crimson Order, so I thought I'd throw an idea for one of the members of the Crimson Order. One idea that I can come up with is a slightly - deranged gremlin named Martyrus, and his profession, knight intelligence extraction and the head of the torture division. When King Tinkinzar orders him to retrieve information and plans from the Spiral Knights, he is determined to carry out his plan, no matter what it takes.
He is known to be violently insane at the most random of times, and it is that trait that has made him be feared by both knights and gremlins alike. As many gremlins are fascinated with tinkering with machines, Martyrus is bent on finding a way of turning them into tools for his demented ways of torture, but his most favorite type is by electrocution. His apparel is a metal-plated gremlin garb, a large tattoo of the Crimson Order insignia on the side of his face, and a set of electronic goggles that are constantly short circuiting because of his obsession with electricity. Usually the images on the lenses are fuzzy, but when they do show, they usually appear as either red Xs or angry eyes.
As for his tool of choice, he wields an electric baton that's connected to an electric generator strapped to his back. His weapon pulses with so much power, lightning practically pulses out of his body. Nobody knows why he willingly exposes himself to a dangerous amount of electricity, but they believe that it somehow keeps him stable as his own way of shock therapy.
If any of you guys got any ideas, or if you got any comments for my idea, let me hear them.
Sounds kind of cool, I suppose. I think there have been some threads like this in the past, but this is probably the most memorable description I've read.
Would this guy be a boss of some kind or were you just throwing the concept out there?
