I don't have a picture of what was happening, but after the update, whenever I try to log on, the screen is really bright and not so colorful, and some of the background images are just replaced with "ERROR" repeatedly. Has anyone had this happen? do I need to reinstall sk? I haven't seen anyone else with this problem, so.
You'll need to find out what images/textures/whatever is missing to know. Either way, you will most likely need to reinstall, which means you won't have your characters anymore.
