That's rather hilarious.
I do agree that variety is needed in the cycling. Its comical that the hats sell out almost automatically but the tabard will last over a week before selling out. At this point, they are proving not to be worth the advertised price and players are losing interest in them. Though, I'm sure they are trying to come up with something new to put in there. New front and back accessories would be very strongly welcomed!
Edit: one more thing. The fact is, no one wants expirable costumes really. They're great for holidays, but situations like this? It just gets old fast.

wish they would put up a few Parrying Blades, those would be real nice
I think rather than assuming we don't want them at all ever, a more varied cycle of items would be a neat idea.
More side blades or parrying blades please? Or vertical vents. Those are super hard to come by these days...
