There are some weapons like the warmaster rocket hammer, DA/GF blitz needle, etc etc that all have just a bleh preset color. Could we possibly have some, SOME of our weapons, have prismatic markings?

Basically, you want the knight personal color to show on weapons.

Weapons have preset models.

Creating this would mean having a different color for the effect on every single weapon.

Creating this would mean recoloring everything twenty four times.

Creating this would create almost nothing for anyone since very few people care about the little ribbon on their Sudaruska being any color other than gray because they can barely see it anyway.

My feet are now made of lizards.

Yes it seems like a

Yes it seems like a fashionista request, which as history has shown, OOO makes money off of fashion statements.

And note, i don't mean EVERY SINGLE weapon. Just a select few which have rather obvious markings

Unless it creates a giant money sink this concept has very little reward to Three Rings and offers somewhat little to the community.

Accessories are different. Costumes are different. Bathing in eyeballs is silly.

Actually, all they would have to do is make the prismatic parts a certain color, really.

They'd just have to make all weapons toggleable with prismatic colors.

Nonetheless, I wouldn't really want this myself. I mean, the Warmaster's Rocket Hammer looks fine as is, turning the crimson to green seems weird...

Sounds like it would be a

Sounds like it would be a goofy weapons accessory. Like all accessories, offer little of anything except status.

They managed height modifiers, which basically meant going and adjusting every piece of armor to look proper with it.

Why not this?

Science

Create example images of recolored weapons.

What is this, a tea party?

Height modifiers only stretch

Height modifiers only stretch your armour out some. This also affects accessories.

Giving new colour properties to existing weapons could prove to be a workload, but it'd be a nice detail. I'll admit I'd be quite interested in colour theme modifiers, but that might be asking for too much. I just like the idea of using the weapons I want without having the weapon clash with my armour theme. But while we're at that, people would want the same modification possibilities for shields and armour, and another workload was served.

Well they get paid for it.

Well they get paid for it. And yes, shields could use a better color setting. If we could have perhaps a shield/weapon color change station which would cost a good 1k CE to change item colors, it's somthing i feel people would be interested in. At least the ones who spend

Having played around in Spiral-Spy plenty, I'd like to throw in that it doesn't seem to take more than a few minutes to add in recolorations to things. Examples of prismatic colorations that I've done can be found here and here (the magenta parts on the suit/hat can be recolored).

That said, one thing I have against the idea of prismatic equipment (as I wrote here) is that you'd be able to recolor a Gran Faust to look exactly like a Divine Avenger, which might not go over well in Lockdown. Of course, a possible solution would be to implement this idea in the form of a costume, thus disabling it in Lockdown.

Right, but GF and DA are

Right, but GF and DA are similar, not exactly the same though. It could be disabled as a costume.

Perhaps an accessory called shells, for example, blue blitz needle shell, would turn all the red parts on the weapon, blue

Check on the handguard, there's a blue ribbon. So instead of changing the glow, sealed line should have that tiny thing as prismatic.

If you dont see it, it's clearer on the faust

It should be a new UV.

It should be a new UV. "Prismatic UV". Any weapon which gains the prismatic UV should gain this effect.
