A wild dragon appeared!

What he means is that if the OP searched for this same topic he'd understand, no matter how much time he's spent in-game, that a bank serves no real purpose in Spiral Knights besides an organization tool for the rare few that are crazy about organization.

Meh.

Do we really need a bank? We already have our 1-foot by 1-foot backpacks that can hold enough stuff to feed and clothe a nation.

Some more Insight

Capital Idea!

So why not a bank? what would you call it? the Bank of cradle? or Feron National trust? Anyways, it could work like this------------->

Aside from the simple fact that what some would fancy as organization, I do agree on that topic, that would be more of a fad.
But, instead would you consider the fact that it would function as a 'REAL' bank? So a minimum deposit would be required, and this feature would be restricted to those knights that had just started the game, so to get this feature you would need say, for instance at least a required amount of prestige.

Now more on the mechanix on how the bank would work, you would have collectiveley a means to purchase CE, as one function, in another you also have a means of acquiring interest on your crowns ( mind you there would be penalties for early withdrawal), The same penalty would apply ,for instance if someone went afk for an Unspecified amount of time, and would also apply to those that leave the game. I guess since we have an interface that has direct access to all the levels, Why not an interface that has direct access to the auction hall, Punch and vize, and all the vendors, all neatly organized with just a touch of a button, right? Might as well. Unfortunateley, this in turn would make the CE market EVEN WORSE, but its just an idea.

Hurr

Banks have two reasons to exist: investment and storage. Investment would mean the rich get richer, which is bad. Storage is not an issue because we have infinite space in our arsenal.

"But I want to store my money somewhere because I get distracted with my money and spend it on random derps."

Self control. That is the least upsetting response to that I can possibly give without urinating in your eyes.

Omg, topics like are such a

Omg, topics like are such a newb fest. All those strange people appearing out of nowhere with "oh nizee ilikes it make it !!!11one".

Really bank for... just keeping your crowns and CE there??? What is the [blessed] reason for this? You cant restrain yourself from spending money you see? If yes you have serious problem.

Bank for interest? Of course, thats what we need even more crowns in game generated completly for free.
Bank with fee? Same as above, and if the fee will be bigger than interetst rate ._. when why the [bless] we need it? Just a waste of time to implement it.

You guys are overthinking for the OP

"I think it would be cool to have some sort of [bank],what do you think?"
"some sort of [bank]"
"some sort of"

One could start as many as threads like that in no time. Just replace [bank] with some other noun. Or generalize it into a single word: Feature.

Start thread called "Feature", opening post contains "I think it would be cool to have some sort of [feature],what do you think?".

No need to discuss here... because there is nothing to discuss.
