According to the wiki, some 5* items (usually fully heated + uv's) extend past the visible end of the bar.
It'd be nice to be able to fully see the extent of the item - especially if it's something someone has worked really hard on.

Those bars lie... they were not drawn according to your item's statistics.
e.g. Look at Speed bar of Gran Faust compared to Divine Avenger. Gran Faust's bar is longer, but the two swords have same swing speed. Gran Faust even charges slower.
Along with your suggestion, we also need accurate bars.

I concur. Bars should be relative to each other, not a somewhat ambiguous indication.

I'd like it if we could have
I'd like it if we could have an option to see numbers for stats on our gear. We already get to see damage numbers when we hit monsters.

It's annoying when you think, 'Oh hey. I have as much defence as is possible for this damage type.' Then you look at the actual bars on your character descrip and RAAAAGE
It would clarify whether the normal defense for Plate lines does counterbalance its lack of offensive use by having substantial accumulative defense.
