MELEE:
*polearms: slow, has good reach, combo is 1, and nocks back enemies but they can still get into your defences. about as strong as a sword
*axes: Slower than swords but not too slow, combo is 3, does more dmg than swords, not alot of range
*hammers: slow, powerful, and has medium range
RANGED:
*hand guns: not too strong, (weakish) fast, doesnt shoot far, has 6 rounds before reload
*rifles: long range, normal dmg, normal speed, 3 rounds before reload
*bomb launchers: slow, semi short medium-ish range, strong, 1 round before reload and has a blast radius so can hit multiple mobs

Polearms would be either overpowered or another Catalyzer; high potential, poor execution.
No one else seems to have formally addressed this.
Considering how they would work, this would be approximately the same.
We already have that. Antigua.

The correct term would be "grenade launcher". Pulsar already does that.
