I'd love to play this game like a twin stick shooter.
Possible joystick mapping.
Left stick -> movement
Right Stick -> aiming
L -> shield
R -> attack
L2/R2 -> cycle weapons
Main 4 buttons -> Item use
Joystick support?

Already supported; just plug the controller in before launching the game, then go to the options menu. Use the "facing" direction options to set aiming.
