Reason being is it suggests having Spiral Knights Servers in other parts of the world.
I live in Australia and i listened to a GM when i told her/him about my lag.
I managed to Change the Jitter and not Ping.
Ping = 700
Jitter was 70 and now 30.
Still i cant get it any lower.
I live in Australia and their are sometimes good days when you play and the server is smooth as pie and everything is working wonderfully.
But thing is i cant play when the lag wont stop.
It is getting out of my hands as i have done all i can from my end.
30 MB Speed. (Mega Bytes)
It is the 3rd fastest speed i heard of in Australia.
1st = 100 MB Speed
2nd = 50MB Speed
3rd = 30MB Speed
I dont know how many people are in Australia having one day a good run and the next few days a Hell bad run.
I get upset cause their aint many austalian runed games.
Most of the time i don't have this problem, But since the time today i ran 2 games at once it hasnt stopped.
Even when i played just Spiral knights.
I have done it before, but this has not happened, not this way.
I did everything the GM told me and even did the ping test. http://www.pingtest.net/
My jitter changed by 40 and Ping has not gorn down from 700.
The Spiral Knights servers are on the other-side of the world to us.
If i do a test whilst playing the Jitter and Ping change.
Jitter = 57
Ping = 787
The ping is not good.
And gaming now sucks because you have to go to the other-side of the world just to play a game, with good Quality.
And Seriously i haven't heard of any good games in Australia that are MP and have servers in Australia....
Are their anymore Solutions to this?
My last test is called Gamebooster and hopefully all works well.
But i seriously doubt it.
It only closes Programs that dont need to run whilst your playing a game.
I am still Really good at the game but when it lags people call me a "Noob".
That call me stupid when i walk over spikes for lag.
In a Email from the gm in the link it is known as the Rubber Band Effect.
If you have Suggestions to help see if we can lower Ping and Jitter Further please Post.
I put this Message here cause Suggesting putting servers in other-places of the world would make a huge difference, to gamers that are on the other-side of the world.
They probably call you stupid for your hard to understand typing too.
On a serious note, congratulations for being the first one to suggest servers for different parts of the world. Complete genius.
Ok forreals though. Someone either made a thread or sent a mail to OOO asking for servers in the australia area. The response was something to do with not enough players in said areas, so the cost of creating and upkeep of the server in that area wouldn't be worth it.
