WTT Divine Wings (+sweets) for Military (Drab) Wings
I know demand for wings has probably been lowered, but i still want Drab Wings, they match me better :) let me know how we can work out a trade, what you expect from my end and what not. You know, the usual trade stuff.

I'm looking for the vanilla wings, Yukarie. I've already got a pair of valkyrie wings, but thank you anyway...
that'll be quite a lot of sweets you're looking at. There's no reason to believe that demand for "common" (ironically, super-rare) gen 1 wings has fallen from pre-promo levels.
Yeah i'm keeping it in mind. But demand has fallen sharply now that wings are so common, so i'm also considering that. Looking for a happy marriage of both perspectives.
Plus, i also suspect the Military Wings will come up in a new promo, so i'm in no hurry as a buyer.
I think as a starting point, i can look at how much the last pair of Divine Wings and Military Wings sold for prior to the promo event in the Featured Auctions.
On 7/10 Divine Wings sold for 1,320,000, the last Military Wings in the FA sold for 1,640,000 on 1/14 (admittedly a while ago.)
The difference between the two might be a starting point.
I know a private AH sale for Military Wings went past 2mil, but i think the buyer had buyer's remorse, as they were offered to me shortly after they were purchased.
So i'll keep those things in mind.

2)Lowered Demand
3)Possibility that they'll pop up in a new promo package

I guess I feel kinda bad discussing this here, since the discussion itself could affect the outcome in some small way.
But if you're cool with it (I can always edit this out if not), here's why I think the price won't fall at all.
1) A new promo of such a similar nature would have to be at least a couple weeks away. I don't think the possibility will affect what sellers will accept for mil wings *now*. Especially since it appears there are only a handful in the game.
2) The people who could afford and wanted mil wings to begin with are not the sort of players who are likely to settle for divines or volcs just because they're cheaper. They have been cheaper for quite a long time, because divines and volcs appear like clockwork on the featured list. Those would-be buyers are probably people like you, who want them to complete a particular outfit. If they were willing to pay through the nose before, they still will be now.
But hey, I could be wrong. If it turns out people really don't want these so much any more, and you manage to nab a cheapish pair, I'll be happy for you. :3

Like a lot of other players who always wanted vanilla wings, through this promotion, i was able to, for the most part, sate my appetite.
I bought the Divine Wings knowing i had two avenues two explore. Keeping them or using them as the initial piece to be offered in a trade for Drab Wings. I could live with either possibility.
As i mentioned to the person that offered me the 2+million cr Drab Wings a few weeks ago, i think he/she overpaid for them. Now that most buyers have something similar to what they wanted, i can only imagine that the pool of potential buyers has dwindled. Drab Wings are extremely rare, but the buyers aren't exactly plentiful either.
Admittedly, i won't pay what the regretful buyer will pay. (Meaning, i don't value them at +2mil, at this point, even 1.6mil seems high to me).
Because i'm extremely patient, I have a cutoff point. Some people don't.
But i'm always looking to pay a fair price for things, which is why i ask sellers to tell me "what [they] expect from my end."

Thanks Derp. Right now, i'm pretty happy with what i have (halo+wings), but i thought i'd explore this option before i attach my wings...
Sold Military Wings for the equiv. of a 45kCE trade about a month ago to Pokenuevo.
lol i got my dusky wings for 350k from a friend... he unboxed them 1 month ago.
So somewhere between 350,000 crowns and 3,500,000 crowns :P
