People say its 4 but when I buy another weapon slot, it just extend it by another 30 days.

since it only lets me stay at 3, and instead extends it by a month.

There are four slots. I currently have four slots.
I'm not aware of how a slot works if you use a token to get to 3 and then wait a few weeks to use a token to get to 4. I'd have expected the second token to always give a fourth slot if you have any time remaining on the third slot.
You may need to elaborate, or contact a GM about a bug if the above details do not match what you have witnessed.

It's four. There's only four slots designed into the UI.
