Just to expand the achievement system a little bit. Basically, it is all in the title.

If you don't want people seeing your achievements, you just need to click off allow full inspect.

Having achievements is an easy way for new players to understand the existance of Shadow Lairs / Danger Missions, not just because they are something to work for.

The developers are really good at making puns, so I bet that they should have an easy (and maybe fun) time coming up with achievement names for rabid snarb / ice queen / etc :)

I think this would be nice. I would finally get some bragging rights for my Dauntless Achieve.

And also because currently unless you are on Steam no one else can see your achievements.

And new achievements would be interesting.

Oh yes, just so I can show off.

I have all the achievements in the game, and I have T3 Shadow Lair Clearance, I am thus COMPLETE! And showing this off would be nice.
However everyone that's seen my Steam Account knows that I have all the 60 Achievements.

I can say this in a lot more words, but there are only positives to this, Puzzle Pirates proves this. (Frenetic Forager/Pillars trophy anyone?)
Yes, to viewable achievements, and yes, to more achievements.
And if we could view the inspect page without the person being online/in the 'room', we'd have an excellent system for inviting people to parties.

oohhh!

love that idea. i would so like if i can inspect anyone in my friend, guild, ignore or whatever list without them actually have to be online or near me just because im not so good with names, and i am much more of an face appearance kind of guy. so being able to see their faces would decide if i know them that well or was it a random friend request that i get out of nowhere without even talking to the person.

Those achievements mean nothing to anyone outside of a Steam friends list at the moment.
They might as well be visible to other players in the game.

Nah, give us a medal, an accessory or something more realistic. I dont think I would bother checking someone's progress, and so are people. Anyway + 0.5, maybe.
