A boots counterpart for (insert _____ set here) would be a great addition for boosting (insert stats here).

Why = i olike the game the way it is, simple, yet fun. i don't wanna add some boots, belts, cloaks, etc... this makes farming harder, and makes the game more complicated. if they grant this wish, ppl will start posting for other stuffs like rings, etc....

I think if they made boots (just like necklaces and rings, etc) it would need to be a trinket. And they could give trinkets costume slots as well.
@Foxhound, the game already has cloaks, lol. Lot's of them :)

What hasn't been mentioned: Most armor sets already appear to have boots as a part of them. Making them a separate item, while theoretically wouldn't be difficult to implement, just seems unnecessary.

It does seem a bit unnecessary - but I can see the potential. It would probably just be superficial bonuses, like speed boosts, resistance to spikes/specific traps. But really, not needed.
