You can craft any of the recipes. But to save a good 20k or so for an SL mat, do the designated SL.

but on short on some 1* mats >.<
had to buy them off my teammates. how stingy they were >:/

Granted you have poured all the money/time into AFFORDING the mats and stuff for it all
