Hi makers of Spiral Knights.
You could built a facilite where you can test out gear such as guns, sword, bombs etc.
It would be helpful so you could test out what gun, bomb, sword before you want to buy!
I'm saying this because i preview weapons then when i buy it its not what i think it would be.
You could call the facilite "Spiral Gear Testing".
You could put it outside of the gates on the left hand side.

When you spend $9.95 and over, you can to be in the test server and try out weapons
If you want to see how a piece of equipment works before getting it, couldn't you just ask someone to demonstrate it for you in the training hall?
The basic mechanics of most 0-1-2-3-4-5 stars items are the same.
Low level items are cheap and the only difference is damage and a fancier/bigger charge.
Want to try a Combuster? get a hot edge. Magnus? punch gun.
juances is right, though some guns (polaris, antigua, catalyzer) have no early equivalents. Also, no bombs have equivalents because their range increases as they gain starrage.
