Make Prestige Points usefull

I'd like to make a suggestion about the current Prestige system. As it is right now, you get a little symbol or a Horse head next to you name, if you earn enough points. But after you get the last symbol you get nothing for earning more Prestige points. In our Guild are already some people with >45k Prestige and also one with nearly 80k points. We hoped, that the points could be used in the new Guild Hall, but they still have no use.
I think it would be nice, if you guys at OOO could make the Prestige points usefull in some points, like buying stuff in the Guild Hall with Prestige, or Unlock new Things, if a Member (or the whole Guild) reached a specific ammount.
Anything would be nice, but please let them be usefull in any kind of way.
(And sorry, if my english is not perfect, it's not my mother language)

i agree, the true players with a motherload of prestige should be rewarded for their work. I think 100K prestige should give you a statue in haven :P just a small one. or maybe exclusive items or things like that :P

I actually agree with this idea

Make the guild have a specific amount of prestige points to unlock something or buy something, but you don't spend your prestige. The whole guild doesn't need a certain limit to get a certain item as it will be a pain in the butt. This can help prestige missions become more useful, except the materials and weapons mission, where you give in your stuff.

I agree. Prestige points are useless right now. I do not care about a running score, what I do care about is being rewarded for having a high prestige score. Currently, a high prestige score only means you complete a lot of prestige missions... And a thingy by your name looks cool.

True players? High prestige players are..true? Y'know tehre are plenty of pros/vets who choose not to do prestige because they don't care, right?

Maybe I'd be up for this if prestige was earnt in some meaningful way, but right now it's really just a manifestation of your activity and surplus of cash for Arms Ap missions.

It'd be like rewarding LD leaderboards people; hardly fair or productive.

The story missions eventually

The story missions eventually award rank badges as accessories; maybe that's the direction to go in? Ranking up could reward players with accessories and/or costume items as indicators of rank; that way, players are getting something for their time, but it's purely bonus material and doesn't unbalance the game by giving already powerful players functional gear.

I think that'd be a mistake;

I think that'd be a mistake; it rather forces players' hands. The current system means that no content is locked off to players who decide to ignore Prestige missions.

Actually, I approve of that.

Actually, I approve of that. It gives players further incentive to play the "story" mission of the game, as well as further reward for DMs (since currently, doing DMs essentially gives no worthwhile reward), but not ever punishing people who don't do it. I mean, they're no worse off than we were before HoH was introduced.
