During the past few days I often find myself getting 5 - 30 sec lag attacks during runs. Personally I was blaming my ISP for it since this started after we had a 2 day service black out here. I would like to believe that my ISP is having hiccups but every thing else I do is unaffected except SK which gives me insane 5-30 lag spikes randomly. This happens whether I have 2 bars or 4 bars in a run.

If it is because of my ISP hiccuping why is SK that overly sensitive to connection issues? Anyway can I fix this besides waiting for my ISP to repair their problems? Because in all honestly the only thing I see that even gets affected by it is SK and I've never had problems like this trying to play SK after that service blackout. Or maybe it was just a previous patch since I noticed SK running at 1 gig of ram last night during FSC instead of its normal 600-700k.

I play on steam. I turned Steam Community ingame off and 75% of the lag has vanished.
