Was doing Vanaduke with a group the other night.

One friend was using Swiftstrike Buckler, and I was using Dread Skelly Shield.

Vanaduke's mace swing broke my shield in one blow, but Swiftstrike Buckler could withstand a hit (and come out of the attack yellow).

Now I understand that there's been a discrepancy before about bars (CIV versus Leviathan, how Leviathan does 30% more damage but has only a tiny bar gain)-- but really? How does DSS break and SB not, when Swiftstrike has pathetic normal defence/health compared to DSS?
