I read Mtax's suggestion for a K:D ratio and I think there should be a mode where mostly you try to eliminate the enemy team, well I mean because some people in LD try to kill people most of the time so it may ruin the point of LD so I would like a mode where the prime point is to kill the opposing team with bloodlust and players can let their anger out by going rage on other players. well the downsides, some players may dominate and the winning team will already be decided... so... yeah.
PvP Team Deathmatch
I'm not against it, but I'd like it to be noted that most players have big enough egos already from LD fragfests. Adding this would give somewhere for these people to put those egos.
+0.5
What Psycho means by that is that we'd lose 75% of our current LD players because they'd run to TD to show just how manly their pings are, and LD would be left with mostly just support classes, of which we already have very few.
"What Psycho means by that is that we'd lose 75% of our current LD players because they'd run to TD to show just how manly their pings are"
It's funny, because while I didn't actually say that, I was thinking it, and just didn't put it in. oO
To inhibit how many players become more egotistical than they are already becoming all future minigames should be team based. Not "oh look we put you guys on the same team to not kill each other but nothing else cares", I mean minigames that literally are impossible without teamwork. To put it in perspective, imagine if attacking in Lockdown was only possible if at least three members of the same team have to put together some kind of artillery weapon that can be used to attack but alone your construction rate is not only lower because of less people helping you but the rate at which it builds is slower and no one has any attacking or defending abilities whatsoever. You either work together to win or struggle on your own and lose.
For a very basic minigame idea.
Which I now have derpbillion other ideas for.
Liquids.
Don't we already have a Team Deathmatch in SK?
Oh wait no, that's just how the clones treat it...
