Nope.

No way Wolvers these days sell for Max 2.5k, minimum 1.5k, the average price on a wolver is 2k. Because people farm UV's on them and just want to offload them for above vendor price. You may snag the noob once in a while, but I garuntee you, 2k is the average price for Wolver.
