Saving the Sudaruska Stun! DEFINITELY A PETITION NOW!

On the second hit? It's been gone for a Year. Removed because stun was buggy. Why the [self censored] Has it not been put back once it was fixed?

EDIT: Time for a Big explanation.

Way back when I started, the Sudaruska was a Weapon that had a Stun proc of Fair-Moderate... with moderate Stun
- that is, the best stun available. (Besides vials I think)

It would Proc on the Second hit... much like the Triglav or the Gran Faust's Second swing. But at the time stun was buggy as all get out... Instant attacks, Screwing up the timing, the works. And so OOO removed the stun on the second hit.

They didn't, however, remove the tooltip Stating "Fair chance of Moderate Stun". And with the Older knights still remembering that it DID stun at one point, the newer knights made it, and wondered, and complained that it didn't stun anymore.

So, because it was not worrisome at the time, OOO chose to not fix stun, but to erase the evidence that it was there. They removed the Tooltip and seemingly refrained to Responding to Bug reports.

And so time passed. Soon enough, OOO wanted to change the Beloved Radient Sun Shards. And they wanted to put stun on it. So while Knights raged at the change, they set about fixing the stun. And they did it, at least mostly... But from the Amount of usefulness of the Stagger Storm (AKA Swagger storm) It was fixed more then enough.

Now, the Sudaruska has always suffered from being inferior. The change to the charge brought it to be more in line with the Divine Avenger's- It's primary Competitor. But the normal combo is not only slower, it's weaker too. If the Sudaruska had at least Fair chance of Moderate Stun on it's Normal combo, it would be able to compete with the other heavy swords; not as a pure damage dealer, but as a Crowd control weapon. Giving at a niche of it;s own. One that is not well done in this game, besides bombs. (But that's another day.)

NEEDED Changes.
-Fair chance of Moderate Stun

Optional Changes. (I recommend one of these, for the sake of More crowd control)
-Apply the Chance of Stun to all Hits
-Increase the chance of stun to Moderate or Good
-Increase the amount moved between attacks

Bug fixes. (If you're gonna work on the Suda, please fix some bugs?)
-The charge attack's first Pulse is centered on the knight, or where it will land.

TL;DR:
Put that darned Stun back on Suda, please.
Fair Chance of Moderate stun at the least
More if you wanna balance it
movement between attacks helps crowd control

To the Day where we can dance with the Sudaruska, the way we should be able to.

This is a thing that should be done.

Maybe even increase the chance a bit. Even on Triglav the freeze chance for the second hit is pretty minimal. ._.

It's just silly that this hasn't been fixed in all this time...
Oh wait, we're talking about OOO here. Give them a year or so to get back to us on this.
Maybe if we wait a few decades they'll balance LD!

Definite yes to all of this, except:

"-Increase the amount moved between attacks"

No, if you want to move further, just hold second swings. With more movement by default, it becomes an awkward trap-magnet.

But more like, 1/3rd, to 3/4ths a Square... to add a dodge whilst in a Crowd.

Oh ya, and when you are swinging overhead with an item of high momentum, and dashing forward, wouldn't it only logical for anything to make contact with you take damage?

It provides a good counterpart to the Sealed line, but all it needs is one little push to certify its status as a legitimate contender. This suggestion is exactly that push.

I own a Kamarin and I love it!

I would really like its line to get the stun back on the 2nd hit, so I have a reason to use the second hit in LD XD.

Either this, or I want the charge time to be shortened or at least give the plate set a CTR bonus to make up for its ASR, even a low per peicewould be worth it.

What also is wrong with the whole troika line is they're far weaker than their counterparts.

Leviathan = brandish line for neutral damage

Troika < Sealed line for neutral damage.

This. Is. Bad.

I could go without stun if it was at least if not slightly stronger than the sealed line on neutral targets. But weaker? Really?

It really isn't that underpowered..... it already beats DA and GF in many (most?) scenarios. And besides, giving it stun on the 2nd hit might make it too much like triglav.

Just because no one uses it due to it being "Underpowered" doesn't mean that it isn't a perfectly balanced weapon... its only the more social side of the game working against it.

I support this 100%, along with the chance to proc stun on all hits.

On the charge, I believe that the first hit should be a line from the back of the sword to the tip of the sword, as wide as the knight. Reduce the damage slightly to account for the greatly increased AoE. The first strike should have slight knockback everywhere but the area of the second blast. This is to help with keeping the knight safe from frontal attacks. They're still vulnerable around the side and back. Make the charge stun only apply to the second blast, though, because proc for stun on any charge hit would get a little OP.

I love the suggestion. I believe the changes proposed in the OP would help, but I think the greater AoE on the charge would put this sword on par with the DA for crowd control.
