Should the Magnus lines be buffed just a little bit? It's heavy gun, which it has a 2 round magazine. I think that it is a bit underpowered compared to some of the other guns out there. It has a slow firing rate, which can leave you wide open in LD. Compared to the other guns, which does overall better damage (like pulsar lines) and the guns which deal stronger, statuses, (alchemers.) it should be buffed a little. I'm suggesting it to have a bit longer range, similar to the Catalyzer guns. Either that or it deal a bit more damage on each shot. The gun is overall pretty weak compared to the other 3 shot guns if all the shots hit. I would really prefer longer range, because you can "snipe" in LD and make it more reliable overall.

The gun

I think the magnus line is just fine. It's a big heavy gun that uses sheer power. So of course the fire rate is slow from the ricochet. The fact that it can knock down light weight monsters like wolvers, devilites, and some gremlins is proof of its raw power which most guns don't have. Plus the bullets are fast which is good.

These characteristics give the magnus its own uniqueness.

Uniqueness doesn't make its damage output any less pitiful.
At the moment, the Magnus works well at killing small groups of enemies. If you're running solo, anything larger than about three, and you're liable to get swarmed. Especially with Devilites.
The bullets feel as if they should be like a sniper's; something that you're going to have to get out of the way of before you die. With a Magnus you're going to have to keep shooting. A sniper should be able to get OHKs; while it's unreasonable to expect the Magnus to do the same (as being able to kill a monster in one boolit would be Overpowered with a capital O), I just feel as if it should have a higher damage output than it currently does.
And the Iron Slug could do with an improvement as well, given that it doesn't get the status or specialised damage of Callahan.

Whilst similar things have been suggested before, it's not really intuitive to Google a topic on SK, and the forum search bar is pig slow and often times out before you can go anywhere with it.
And, whilst Nick has mentioned that the Iron Slug is getting a buff, that was like a bajillion threads ago in something that's probably buried 20 pages under in the Arsenal Forum. Under a landslide of questions about 'what turn ash tail itno snarb/skolv/vog' (sic).

Solution

I really also think that since the magnus is only 2 shots , it should be more than other 3 shots guns ,Like the difference between avenger and any other elemental weapons.
And magnus is piercing wich is the most damage that needs to be fast or strong enough to fight devils and beasts.
Here are some solutions :
1- Make magnus a 3 shots gun without changing speed or abilities or damage.
2- Add more damage to the magnus
3- make a littile bomb explosion when the bullet hits ,so 2 bullets could be enough to attack large number of enemies.
4- fast reaload time.

@Knight-Okm, I'm pretty sure brandishes out DPS Sealed Swords.
1. Then it's not a slow powerful gun, which is what it's intended to be.
2. Yes.
3. No more guns with large AOE, this would essentially be a fast Polaris.
4. See number 1.

Nick is having people work on a new mechanic for the magnus lines so stop making new threads about it.
